The nineteenthirteen massacre was formed in February 2005 by bassist
Aychbe Negative, guitarist Brian Blasphemous and drummer Timbob Justice.
With their sights set on social awareness the members wrote and recorded their
first 7" EP entitled "Rise and Resist" during their first 2 weeks of existence,
in an effort to bring attention to problems plaguing both the Pittsburgh region
and the United States. The band played their first live show on April 29th,
2005 at Excuses on Pittsburgh's Southside.

After a few additional performances, both Negative and Justice realized that
Blasphemous was not up to the task at hand so they enlisted guitarist
Mike Greer (F.B.O.M.B.) to fill in at shows while they sought out a permanent
            guitarist.

In December of 2005, the nineteenthirteen massacre recruited guitarist
Johnny Nineteen (ex From Heaven With a Gun). With a background in metal, Johnny helped
to refine the nineteenthirteen massacre's sound and add aggression to their
already confrontational style. With the line-up once again solidified, the band
began work on their second 7", the Gospel According to Yeeanny, which was
released in May of 2006. While recording their second EP, Tyler Gallentine
(ex From Heaven with a Gun & Demise of Eros) joined the band for a brief stint as a second
guitarist and backing vocalist. During this time, the band continued to play
shows in and around the Pittsburgh area with notable acts such as Submachine,
SkullDeathGutCorpse, Leprosy, and Triangle & Rhino.

Shortly after playing a memorial benefit show for local punker Ehrin Sinister,
Timbob Justice abruptly left the band in December of 2006. Aychbe and Johnny
began auditioning drummers in addition to playing in side projects and working
on solo material. Their search lasted the duration of 2007.

In March of 2007, veteran drummer Ken Wolfe (ex Endless & Infinite Domain) joined the
nineteenthirteen massacre. With his experience in both hardcore and thrash, Ken
brought a drumming style that completed the sound the band had been trying to
            create from its inception.

The band is currently working on all new material, preparing to perform live
during the summer of 2008. Also the nineteenthirteen massacre plans on
releasing their third EP, chocked full of their trademark fast, technical,
and aggressive tunes, sometime in the near future.
