04/13/08: First update in a long time. Betcha thought we were dead.
We took a year off, lost a drummer & found a new one. Check out
our updated bio for more info. New music & complete site overhaul
                      coming soon.

it's nice to be doing updates again,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg

10/26/06: Added several shows. Go to them. Listen to live, local music.
Sorry for the laziness and lack of updates, more to come soon.

                                                             your fig pickin' pal,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg

07/27/06: Updated Bio, updated shows. Check them out.

                                                             cheers,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg

05/16/06: Every night this week, we will be releasing a song from our new EP
the Gospel According to Yeeanny on our podcast feed, so be sure to
                      tune in.
                                                             stay tuned for more,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg

05/09/06: We have a few shows coming up, be sure to check by our shows page for
                      more details.

                                                             your pal,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg

03/27/06: It only took a month, but Itunes finally approved our podcast feed.
You can now subscribe to our podcast by entering the keywords
"the nineteenthirteen massacre" in Itunes podcast search bar.

I also added a second RSS feed that contains text only information
as a supplement to those who prefer using Itunes as an aggregator.
You'll need a standard aggregator for that feed.

The nineteenthirteen massacre is currently mixing their still
untitled 7" and hope to have that for you soon.

Also, the nineteenthirteen massacre has become a 4 piece, adding
Tyler Durden as their second guitarist. Tyler will be making his
first appearance with the group on April 1st at Club 62 in Uniontown,
PA. That show is scheduled to start at 6pm, is all ages, so stop by
                      if you're in the area.

                                                             later,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg

02/27/06: After much hesitation, I made our podcasting feed Itunes compliant.
Although we are still awaiting approval for listing on Itunes
music store, you can now subscribe using Itunes 4.9 or higher by
clicking on Itunes advanced tab and selecting subscribe
to podcast. Enter http://www.1913.us/rss.xml into the url box and
                      click Ok.

We received a few emails requesting we implement an Itunes friendly
feed so despite our personal feelings about Apple's involvement in
podcasting, we decided that it's admissible for us to include our
                      music on their Itunes service.

                                                             See ya on the flip,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg

02/24/06: the band is hard at work on their upcoming EP, which will have
7 - 8 new songs for your listening pleasure and should be ready
within the next few weeks. Since December of last year, the band
has been playing with their new permanent guitarist, Johnny Nineteen,
as well as writing new material which you can hear in the latest
podcast. We apologize for lapses in podcasting and greatly appreciate
those of you who still subscribe to our RSS. I'm still uncertain
if we'll implement an I-tunes feed because we're opposed to Apple's
involvement in podcasting. If any of you out there would like for us
to podcast using i-tunes, please let me know via e-mail. The band
should be resuming their podcasts on a weekly basis, so to hear
their latest tunes and keep up on the latest nineteenthirteen
massacre happenings, be sure to subscribe to our RSS/Podcast feed.

In site related news, I've added the band's latest press photo in the
photos section as well as condensed some of the menus and added
inline frames. The band bio and the links page have been updated
also. If you'd like for your site to be linked, email us and
                      we'll trade links.

                                                             Until next time,
                                                             Charlie Seeburg
